DEATH '11

I spent last night at a New Years Eve 'pay a million dollars for a ticket' party which was good apart from the million dollar entry fee (slight exaggeration), I was with my friends for the countdown and we laughed and sipped/gulped our beers amongst well dressed hipsters playing music from a Macbook and dancing ironically like robots. Have I painted a divine picture? I was a good sport and danced to the trendy electronic beats for a while but all those jerky movements (In both senses of the word) started to you know like jar my back and stuff.

My friends and I got home pretty early and the first thing I ate in 2012 was cold eggplant pizza and chocolate cake both of which were delicious and I harbor no regrets. Being "alone" on New Years Eve has slightly tainted my experience of this arbitrary night of frivolities but the older I get the more I realize that you have to take New Years Eve with a grain of salt. It's not going to be an amazing night that immediately and wholly changes your existence for the better - but, it is about hope and optimism which I'm all for.

If I was in charge at this party, I would have played these songs and I think more people would have found themselves brushing up against another, instead of whacking them in the face. DOWNLOAD HERE: http://www.mediafire.com/?2qh6vh1po49qq
