Crazy
Do you remember mama, when I knocked upon your door?
I said you had the nerve to tell me you didn't want me no more, yeah..
I open my front door, hear my back door slam,
you must have one of them new fangled back door men.
Hey I did a colouring in!
On another note... today I got the below book which is the best thing in the entire world and in the entire universe pretty much, it's called
'Man and Woman'
and for some reason when I read that title in my head I always say it in like a cave man voice. Anyway it's from 1970 and talks about 'free love' and it's interesting because they also talk about the prevalence and growing popularity of the pill and talk about sex from both a man's and a woman's point of view and generally seems quite comprehensive and forward for something published in 1970! Very impressed indeed. Also this seems like a good a time as ever to mention that I now am one of those people who has Instagram, seriously. But I am actually like addicted to it because I got it so I could follow all the Rookie Road trip pictures and live vicariously through them but then I started posting pix and have never looked back so like follow me and stuff, I promise it'll be fun times my user name is minnagilligan so call me maybe!
Here are scans from the book:
Gee I think that's all I got for you tonight! EXCEPT I have to tell you to WATCH a movie by the name of
(1980), about the life of Loretta Lynn (whom I happen to love) played by Sissy Spacek (whom I happen to love) and it is the best movie I've seen lately. It got me speaking in a southern accent. The best part or the saddest part is when Patsy Cline dies and Loretta doesn't know, and she wakes up in bed to the radio playing 'Crazy' by Patsy Cline and the announcer comes on and says she's dead. It's so sad! But that song is man oh man so good. Here is is for y'all to listen to as we part. In real life, before Patsy died in that tragic plane crash - she had like a premonition or a feeling that she was going to die soon. It is really spooky - she like started to give her stuff away and made out her will and then she died. Oh it's so sad sad sad! The other day the music died.
